House B in San Francisco by Craig Steely
Fri, Dec 4, 2009
San Francisco-based architect Craig Steely designed this house, driven by an insightful interpretation of the planning code. This approach allowed to keep the existing neighbor’s views and light, create a central yard that all rooms look onto, and orient the house towards the incredible panoramic view, stretching from Twin Peaks to the East Bay. At the top floor, the frameless 28-foot corner window and the slatted fence wrapping around the base orient the viewer in the house to the incredible downtown views.
