House H – Absolute Minimalism from Sou Fijimoto Architects
Fri, Nov 27, 2009
“House H” is the Sou Fijimoto Architects`s latest project. This is a house, created in the traditions of Japanese minimalism. White walls and open spaces – these are the main features of the Japanese architects`s project. The structure is very original, but some moments arouse surprise. First, the house, is designed so that everything what happens to be easily observed from the street. This is not very consistent with domestic comfort and privacy. In addition, the open area on the roof, which is a simple ladder, can be extremely dangerous for small children.
On the ground floor there is a small pool, which may appeal to children. However, this home maybe is not traditional, but for someone, who like asceticism and the minimalist look is the perfect solution.
