The Brazilian architect Marcio Kogan and its Studio MK27 won many international awards for the Paraty House, including the 2010 Design Award of Walpaper Magazine.
Located near Rio de Janeiro the fabulous Paraty House is a marvel of residential architecture. Built on the coast of the sea after the manner of three stacked open boxes, the villa offers immense volumes, completely open to nature and a lovely swimming pool. The material, used for the building are stone, wood, glass and bamboo sticks for bedroom decoration. The colorful outdoor furniture correspond dramatically with the comfortable furniture from solid wood inside.
