Bookwave – Original Bookshelf from Ilio
Thu, Jan 21, 2010
If you are looking for something nonstandart and original to put your books and magazines, there is my second proposal (after the Cornered Table). Bookwave is a curtain, a room divider and a bookshelf. The soft soul of the fabric provides all these functions in a new approach as it expands to any size. The original shelf actually hang from the ceiling and can be a central element of any interior. The eccentric creation is designed for the Turkish design company Ilio by Mehtap Obuz.

This one is a low quality copy, not worth the price. The original is called Origami 3D Mesh and was designed by Illu Stration – Mary-Ann Williams – THE QUEEN OF FELT
