Fusion – Modern Restaurant by Bilyana Getzova
Mon, May 17, 2010
Today I suggest you to look at one of the last design solutions of Bulgarian architect Bilyana Getzova. The interior is a contemporary restaurant Fusion in Gabrovo, Bulgaria. The restaurant features modern chairs in lilac, yellow and black and exquisite lighting in white, black and gold. The walls and the floors are in harmonious, warm colors.
An interesting decision is the inclusion of variegated bench, which is typical for the old Bulgarian houses. In the restaurant you can try hookah and enjoy live music.
And here is what the author of the interior reveals:
“The restaurant was not repaired by the years of socialism and was in very bad situation. Located on the ground floor of Balkan Hotel with direct outlet to main street. Because the general structure of the hotel, the restaurant has very solid constructive rings that I had to integrate in the interior without bothering.
Investors were wonderful, they approved and implemented the original idea of the project. The realization carried out for about six months. All modular furniture, pendels and large white lights along the wall are custom made.
The studio of Bilyana Getzova is located in Varna. Look at her creative interiors in her portfolio here.
