Interior Lifestyle China organized by Messe Frankfurt, held from October 13-16, was a great success!  12,470 visitors were in attendance this year, nearly a 20 percent increase from 2009. The mood at the show was optimistic with praise for the quality of brands as well as the preview of China’s up and coming design talent.  The show provided professional business platform for mid to high-end international lifestyle product brands looking to enter the Chinese market. Mrs Susan Pan, President for Tayohya, China’s leading lifestyle products retailer, said, “This show is a great addition to the industry in China – consumers’ tastes are still developing so it is important to have platforms where designers, retailers, suppliers and distributors can exchange ideas, express themselves, learn from others experience and excite buyers about the industry.”

More than 200 suppliers from 13 countries and regions showcased their latest trends, designs and innovations in the world of contemporary interior lifestyle products.  Special pavilions grouped exhibitors from France (13 exhibitors), Germany (48 exhibitors), Hong Kong (12 exhibitors) and Italy (13 exhibitors) together to highlight respective country’s unique style and design.  The Sales General Manager for the French cookware brand Le Creuset, Teresa Ng observed that the fair has “given [Le Creuset] better exposure in this massive market”.
